3 Years

On Wednesday Joe and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe that I've already been "Mrs. Weinberger" for three years. During our third year of marriage there were times of walking through the valley, but always after those valleys we experienced  the glorious mountain top. The Lord is our steadfast rock, and He continues to show himself to us through our marriage. Here is our annual slideshow I put together for our anniversary. Please excuse the cheesy music- but when I hear these songs I will always think of 2012.

Home Movies

This week I've been working on editing and compiling all of the "home movies" J & I have taken since we got married. After visiting my aunt and uncle in NOLA (who have ALL of their home movies beginning in the '70s on DVD) I felt inspired. Here is a bit of a preview.

Dating Anniversary

I never posted on April 22nd acknowledging our seven year 'dating' anniversary. We didn't really celebrate, but Joe at least said 'Happy Anniversary' when he woke up at the morning.

When I was still in high school, and Joe in College he made me the sweetest mix CD with him singing the song "All These Things". I would give just about anything to still have it, but I don't. Not that he would ever in a million years allow me to post it here, so we will have to settle for Stephan Speaks.

200

This is our two hundredth post! Wow! We have documented a lot of events on this blog, and it has been a wonderful way to watch the journey of our marriage unfold. Of course I blog for you, the reader (all 5 of you), but I think I really do it for myself. It's a way to share, celebrate, grieve, relax, and sometimes even worship the Lord.

Visions of Valentine's Danced in Their Heads.

I wish I had time to do all of the wonderful ideas, decorations, and eats I'm seeing for St. Valentine's Day. Alas, I don't have much time, but these pictures sure are lovely.

Two Years.

Two years ago this evening Joe and I began our married life together. It is hard to believe that it has been two years since that cold day in January. It was an incredibly special time, and we think of it fondly. Today we will just enjoy being together, and plan to do all of our favorite things. We couldn't be here without the support and love of our family and friends, so thank you!

Happy 25th!

A very Happy 25th Birthday, to my most favorite person on this earth. Joe is an amazing man, and I'm so blessed to call him husband and best friend. Among countless others, some of his incredible attributes are: loyalty, thoughtfulness, loving, SWEET, funny, hard worker, and steadfast.
We had a wonderful weekend with part of his family. It amazes me how much love we have in our lives. We are BLESSED! I will post all about his spoils in a week or so, but they are pretty good.

Joe,

I love more than words can express. Thank you for choosing me. I am so grateful to have you in my life. Happy 25th Birthday!

All my love- always,

One

Today is our one year anniversary. I can't believe it!! Time has flown by. God has taught me so much through my marriage to Joe. The transformation that has occurred in my heart is only by his power. When I look back to that cold day last January I am of course flooded with various different emotions. I truly wouldn't change a thing. After the wedding everyone had different comments etc. All of them good, but the one that that has stuck closest to my heart is: "it was the most Christ filled, God glorifying wedding I have ever been to...". Praise the Lord. That is all we wanted, for the Lord to be exalted. These are just a few of my (not so typical) favorite pictures:

Our first year of marriage has been amazing. Really, I mean it. God has grown us so much, and we have just had so much fun. Naturally there have been a few rough times, but they were never without growth. When I think about it I am humbled by God's grace and blessings. This next year in our lives I know will hold just as much growth, blessings, and fun. Here's to 2011.
