Beating the Heat

This weekend Joe and I spent as much of it as we could inside. It was 107 on Saturday, and 111 on Sunday. Unreal. It is quite warm (108) at this moment. Friday evening Joe had a team event at Dave and Busters and I tagged along. Why not pretend to be a kid for a while and play some video games (for free!)? Joe enjoyed it way more than I did, and I wouldn't have it any other way. My favorite part were the goofy pictures we took in the photo booth.

Saturday we celebrated the end of Restaurant Week at The Esquire Tavern. We had so much fun. The atmosphere was marvelous. It is not your average pub food, with way above average cocktails. If you find yourself there, get the homemade Ginger Beer. It is the perfect refreshment for 108 degree weather. It is most definitely our new usual.
