Sandy, Why Oh Why, Sandy

It has been an eventful five days.

Friday- Joe finally flew home to D.C. for good.

Saturday- We participated in Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Sunday- We began painting the master bathroom and geared up for that nasty little storm, Sandy.

Monday- Sandy made her appearance in the D.C. area.

Today- Joe worked from home again and I got my fill of sitting on the couch, watching shows on netflix. 

We are very fortunate to have escaped Sandy with little to no damage here in the D.C. area. The Metro rail is up and running and tomorrow life will return to normal. It was definitely an experience I am not eager to repeat any time soon, and our prayers go out to people who were not as fortunate.
