Smitten

Alexandria- I'm just about head over heals for you.  

Today Rémy and I went for a little run/walk down to the Potomac River and up King Street. Oh my, I'm in love. There were wonderful green spaces, trees, and beautiful boats. Lots of picnic potential people. As you walk further down the river there's a charming restaurant and quaint little shops. This is where King Street spills over it seems. As we walked up King Street I was overwhelmed by how many restaurants, pubs, shops, etc there were. We couldn't go to every one if we tried. I couldn't help but smile. I should do this more often- when I'm feeling lonely. It reminds me how happy I am to be here, and of all the wonderful things Joe and I will get to experience. People say delayed satisfaction is best, I'm choosing to believe that today.
