This weekend was quite life changing. Ok, not really all ttthhhhaaatt life changing, but monumental none the less. Friday evening I was using my sweet husband's computer and (because of details I'm choosing to leave out) it broke, to say the least. Well of course this resulted in a huge ummm we'll call it, discussion. We both just about had a melt down. Numerous irreplaceable photos and videos from our honeymoon etc. were saved on that particular laptop and I'm a bit sentimental. Ha, a bit. Joe is as well, so to loose those things was/is a process to get over. The 'discussion' that was the result was our first exit out of the 'honeymoon stage' and into married life. Don't get me wrong, I know we are still very much so in the 'honeymoon' stage, but this was the first time we were genuinely irritated with each other since being married. Neither of us slept much, and yesterday morning didn't bring much relief from the pain of our loss (the laptop). I knew if I didn't give my man some lovin' we would not be having very much fun that day. I know this sounds terribly dramatic or be too much information, but it really was awful. Joe had to leave today to go out of town until Wednesday, so we just tried to enjoy our day together yesterday. We are going to be in Houston Thursday-Sunday and are going to take the laptop to a data recovery place. If you think of it, say a little prayer that our videos and pics would be recovered.
